The Korean romantic comedy-drama film A Bittersweet Life has its title from the words of one of its characters, "life is bitter and sweet." The film's protagonist is Kim Sunwoo, played by actor Jo In-sung.
The film follows Kim as he falls in love with a new employee at his company, Kang Jiwon. But their relationship becomes complicated when Kim’s co-worker Yeon Jiwan starts courting Kang as well.
